Its one of the few series where I avoid thinking too hard about future events. I'm enjoying the ride so much, the destination is unimportant.
However...
I'm very interested to see what Clarbelle really has in mind. Can't be coincidence she's turned up again.
And Tanith is still out there.
And despite the events in Death Bringer, I don't think Carol and Crystal are completely turned off magic
Also, I never thought I'd miss Fletcher!

Skullduggery Pleasant Books
Started over 1 year ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
Massive fan here. I picked the first book up on spec at a carboot sale because I liked the cover, and it reminded me of Grim Fandango. But when I read it I was hooked.
The banter between Skullduggery and Stephanie (and pretty much everyone else too) is hilarious. And I have to be stopped from reading bits aloud to anyone who happens to be near.
I was recently asked who my favourite character was, but its such a hard question as there are no bad characters. Even The Twins and Vaurien Scapegrace (Killer Supreme) are really well-written :)

Clip on earrings instead of pierced earring types. What do you think of them?
Started over 1 year ago · Last post 8 months ago ·
As an alternative to clip ons, I found some which use a screw-thread (like a mini g-clamp) in my local accessories shop.
I only wear earrings when out clubbing or as part of cosplay/costuming, so fo me these are a better alternative to piercings. They are less pinchy than actual clips, and you can always adjust how loose/tight they are if they fall off, or feel painful.

@Nikki: You can buy and download from minecraft.net
There's also a stripped-down version you can play for free on that site to get a feel for it. But the full version has a heck of a lot more stuff in it.

I started playing a few weeks ago. It's very addictive.
And if you can find a good server then playing with other people (and seeing what they build) is so much fun.
Current projects:
Skycraper
Wild West Town
Full size battleship

Zombie room ideas?
Started almost 2 years ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
Riffing of Teh Morganator, could you get some wood and Halloween props to make a fake "boarded-up winder with zombie arms grabbing through"?
You can always use heavy card or foamboard if actual broken wood would be a safety hazard.

Cosplayers?
Started over 3 years ago · Last post 10 months ago ·
I've seen a handful of Applejack cosplayers (and met one). The general trend is an orange shirt or orangy-coloured check shirt, teamed with jeans and a cowboy hat. You can attatch the cutie mark as a patch if you like.
For Derpy I'm dressing in grey trousers and a shirt I printed the http://derpymail.org/ logo on the back of. I've got a blonde wig, a grey basball cap, and a "Hi My name is" badge.
Some progress here: http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/costume/view/43435

Oh yeah. I do have a cosplay island profile! http://www.cosplayisland.co.uk/overview/PandoraCaitiff
I'm now working on costumes for the London October Expo - Derpy Hooves (from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) and Terezi Pyrope (from Homestuck)

Grumbling about CO&K tutorials
Started almost 2 years ago · Last post almost 2 years ago ·
I know this is really petty of me, but I'm getting quite grumpy about the number of tutorials on CO&K that don't actually show you how to make a project.
There's two types in particular.
The first is the "How to make item x" where the instructions are:
1) Buy item x
2) Decorate item
And the second is the "How to make a designer clone" where the instructions are:
1) Be an awesome artist
2) Paint an awesome design on the item
With the first, I wish the creator would call the tute "how to DECORATE item x".
And with the second I wish they'd make a template/stencil or give general advice on how to get the look.
Am I being uncharitable here?

Most Random Song You've Ever Heard?
Started over 2 years ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
@Nightmare Queen: Have you seen the (totally NSFW) spoof The Ultimate Orgy? http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/330027
Bananaphone's pretty random. I didn't realise it was a real song before it was a meme!
Also: Was Not Was - I Feel Better Than James Brown. Sorry for rubbish quality, the official video was pulled from Youtube.

Looking for some plus size friends!
Started about 2 years ago · Last post about 2 years ago ·
UK size 20/22 here and finding it hard to find "sexy" clothes. Evans and Yours have a good range, but assume we all want to hide our legs. Its very hard to find a skirt above the knees! :(
I love CO&K though. If I can't find it, I can try making it :)

I need a burlesque name!

I feel a bit young to be using madam. Plus here in the UK a "madam" is a slang term for a brothel owner!
Something cheeky is good though. But I'll avoid the "von". Glamour Advocate recommends avoiding cliches like Kitten, Kitty, Vixen, Honey, Von, Lux or Deluxe, Lola, de Ville, Violette, Pinky, Femme or Belle.

I need a burlesque name!
Started about 2 years ago · Last post about 2 years ago ·
I'm currently doing a beginners burlesque course, and part of that is building a character. I can do character, but names have always been a stumbling block (ask my roleplaying group!) To start us off we picked names from a bag to spur our creativity. Our instructor said we could change it if we didn't like it, and mine doesn't really fit me (Miss Glitter Gold).
I've found a few blog posts on the subject, but all the links to full articles seem to be broken. And the wayback machine has nothing. So I turn to you CO&K!
I'm after something spooky, gothy or vampire-esque. But I want to keep the playful side too (so no "Mistress Raven of Pain")
I'm taken by "Miss Twilight Sparkle" (it's a My Little Pony, and a vampire joke), but that might seem a bit lame to someone not in the know.
SpookyPoodle is taken, and we have a local Miss Pandora Box. Any opther thoughts guys and gals?

Friendship is Magic

Its particularly nice as it doesn't patronise its viewers, and unlike many shows aimed at little girls, it doesn't revolve around boys and fashion.
It even passes the Bechdel Test!

Same item - China vs. U.S.A. ???
Started about 2 years ago · Last post about 2 years ago ·
If the item is the exact same one (and not a cheap copy, or a lesser product fraudulently listed as something better) then buy from the source.
The American companies don't care for American jobs, they want profit. And this usually means outsourcing jobs/production to China and India. If they only care about price, why shouldn't you?

Anyone else watching the new My Little Pony series? I've only just discoverd it, and I'm loving it.
I never really cared for MLP as a kid, but the new style cartoon (from Lauren Faust who worked on Powerpuff Girls and Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends) is hilarious. Its even crossing the divide and appealing to guys too!

Cosplayers?

In a complete turnabout from my first post in this thread, I made and wore a Belarus (from Axis Powers Hetalia) costume for the London 2010 Expos.
I'm currently working on a Garterbelt (from Panty and Stocking) costume. I have the afro, have started work on the beard, and have the material for the robes and stole.

tron inspired fashion

As a chunky person, not so much. Spandex bodysuits really aren't very flattering :D
I wonder if there's anything I could do in the *style* of the Tron outfits though...

Legend of Zelda fans

Link to the Past for me too. No sailing, no running across Hyrule Field for an hour, no waiting to grow up. Its the perfect Zelda game in my opinion. It just all its together well, and is newbie friendly too.
Links Awakening on Gameboy had a cool story, but there was lots of backtracking, which annoys me a fair bit in games.

FAVORITE ANIME SERIES?
Started over 4 years ago · Last post over 1 year ago ·
At this very moment I'm enjoying Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt, and Axis Powers: Hetaila (Don't judge me!)
Over the years I have enjoyed:
Sailor Moon (especially Sailor Moon S)
Bubblegum Crisis 2040
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Ouran High School Host Club
Revolutionmary Girl Utena
Princess Princess
I also loved Aeon Flux, but that's not really "anime"

Books you hate, can't get into or that just plain suck
Started almost 3 years ago · Last post almost 2 years ago ·
I recently tried to read Last of the Mohicans. The sentences were so long and run-on, I had difficulty keeping track of what was going on or who was who. I guess I'll have to watch the film at some point (or find one of those Classics Illustrated comics!)
