    Cloth Pads?

Started over 3 years ago · Last post 8 months ago ·
I just can't muster up the courage for cloth pads. I tell myself it's okay since my parents used clothe diapers on me and I'm a vegan, so I have a pretty low environmental impact.

Also, I share a laundry room in my apartment and I can't imagine washing them in there...awkward and kind of gross! If you have your own washer/dryer be thankful.

I use craigslist to get rid of stuff and post it in the FREE section. But it's true you have to be really fast to get stuff.

I have a bunch of lace

Started about 3 years ago · Last post about 3 years ago ·
You can make Easter egg decorations by blowing up a small balloon and wrapping the balloon in lace dipped in Elmer's glue (not to soaked in glue.) Then let it dry over night and pop the balloon and pull the bits out.

how do you dye man made fabrics

Started over 3 years ago · Last post about 3 years ago ·
Yeah this may be tough. Dye takes differetly to fabric that has had contact with sweat and oils, even if it is clean. Also fabric takes dye differently if it's been worn. I've dyed some used stuff and found that the arm pits always come out darker, so it looks like you're sweating. But hey, what do you have to lose. I'd try the spray paint. Post your results, I'd love to see what happens!

    glass jars

Started over 3 years ago · Last post about 3 years ago ·
I re-use a lot of glass jars in place of plastic tuperwear. It doesn't leak plastic stuff into your food and the glass doesn't absorb odors.

Or try some glass etching like this http://naughtysecretaryclub.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-love-to-create-glass-etching-is-my.html.

    Mothers Day Ideas

Started about 3 years ago · Last post about 3 years ago ·
My sis is a mommy-to-be (Due June 22) and I want to do something special for her. I'm totally stumped too - any ideas from all the mommies out there?
