So I'm an English trained nurse who lives in the US now.I'm a 20 yr vet of the NHS as a practitioner.Had been a service user for 40 yrs when we moved.
I choose nursing as it was free at the point of delivery.It met peoples needs at the point of delivery in a way that was to the best that could be managed with the funds available.I work in the National Health Service.
The American system is an industry.It's goals are to generate profits I has little focus on client care.
I have no right to vote or work in America.I am at 45 a dependent.I have no voice.
I watched the State of Union address and I found it truly powerful.
I think America has a chance to move away from profit and embarrass a humanistic.We are all born and we all die but it's the care that we receive between those two points that will most impact our life experience.

Brook -if it's any help I have swap worries too.
Your I-runner got too close to a flamethrower and took a shot between the eyes.It certainly has character and is the best I can do.It's really difficult to create a custom order plushie so this will just have to be my interpretation.
Lo's book is being really tricky.Yesterday was to hot to glue.Today we're having thunder storms and heavy rain so the humidity is high and the pages aren't drying.I'm getting wrinkles as well.The best thing to do is put it aside and wait.
I so hope I live up to both your expectations.Swapping should be about fun and sharing.

You make amazing things and I understand the time and commitment that goes into everything you create.
BTW the spider and poem you wrote for me is still makes me smile every day.You bead work has been admired by museum curators when spider sat on the top of my display.
You can do so much and share so well.If you fancy a new challenge go for it.

Mary-I would suggest getting hold of those that fund your organization and clarifying that this is appropriate behavior.
I'm sure you must have a contract and you need to clarify that the organization is behaving within the boundaries of your contract.
You may need to bring this to the attention of others in the organization.
Document the accountant's behavior and get help to come to a solution.
Your clients value your skills and you are an asset to the organisation but your health and well-being are important.

Lo your post last week opened up a huge emotion for you.This will take time to process and move on from.I'm not sure what you did with the sharing but I really hope you managed to show it with someone that you can talk to on a one to one basis.
The writing skills are still there you just need to concentrate on other areas.

Rawr Rawr-life never happens in straight lines and we can never relive it once we've been at any point.
You have chosen your A-levels.Think of them as a passport to whatever future you end up in.Work with your teachers to show your maximum potential.
Make sure your share with your tutors your voluntary work here- hosting a swap on going swap is a great life experience and a commitment.Will hold you in good stead for references and life hobbies.
I found it so frustrating when a student gave up on my courses.
Just seemed like a wasted opportunity to lose them from the class.
We're actually beginning to plan a gap year full of experience rather that qualifications for our teen.
Ever thought of becoming a plumber or electrician their highly paid and help people and animals every day.Float that past you Dad!
Get those A-level's they are the first door to a good life.
