Featured Projects
Started about 3 years ago · Last post about 3 years ago ·
i've had two tutorials that were featured. The first one i just kinda threw together because it was seasonal and i wanted to share it in time for the holiday. it was a very happy surprise to see my "spring snack" on the home page :) then the second one i worked really hard on and thought it was a great quality project with clear instructions and photos- yea kinda had that feeling like "this would be a cool co+k feature" !!! i still get a kick out of when someone favorites one of my projects or when i have a new friend request. I enjoy co+k sooooo much- haha i feel like such a dork!

What project are you most proud of?
Started over 3 years ago · Last post about 3 years ago ·
I guess I am most proud of my original patterns. I just made 2 new amigurumi patterns (a hedgehog and a chicken) hopefully will be posting a how to soon. Also i have a plush whale pattern i made- he is so cute but I made it difficult so I haven't made on in awhile because he is a challenge!

Crafting books
Started over 3 years ago · Last post over 3 years ago ·
I have sooo many books! If you like making plush then i recommend anything by Aranzi Aronzo. I believe it's Japanese, you can buy translated. They are just really cute things and the books kinda funny the way it describes making the dolls and everything.

Plushies where to start
Started over 3 years ago · Last post over 3 years ago ·
There are some fantastic patterns online- i google "free toy pattern" and "free plush pattern" all the time. so many wonderful bloggers share their patterns and tutorials. also check your local library- i'm sure they have some books in the craft section.
it's fun to make your own patterns. An easy way to do this is trace cookie cutters. and i also use the "paint" application on my computer to draw pictures- then i print them out and use them as a template.
i am a big fan of the ladder stitch, whip stitch, and back stitch.
have fun! plushies are my favorite thing to make!

How much time?
Started over 3 years ago · Last post over 3 years ago ·
how much time do you guys waste each day looking at patterns and ideas and not actually crafting something???? I am totally guilty of spending too much time looking for ideas on the web or going thru all my patterns i've printed out and not settling on something to actually make!
so how much time does it take you to settle on a project? or am i the only inefficient one? :)

Xmas gift!
Started over 3 years ago · Last post over 3 years ago ·
I am making all my christmas gifts this year. i've made several hats and scarfs already. i am making those crayon holders that roll up for my niece and nephews, and stacking toy for my baby niece. apple and banana jackets. i'll probably make some sugar hand scrub and put that in pretty jars too.

what are you working on?

well i probably should be working on promoting my etsy shop but i've kinda let that fall to the side lately. i am making EVERY christmas gift this year so even though i've already made 3 scarves and 3 hats i still have a lot more to make. plus my best friend i having a baby in a few weeks so i am making some amigurumi that match her nursery theme.
