Are you planning on dying it yourself, or going to a shop to get it done? If you are getting it done somewhere, maybe you could try talking to your hairdresser about it. I talked to mine before I got it dyed, so I would know whether or not the color would show on my hair. I just chose a color I wanted and my hairdresser (also my aunt) did it in her shop. Good luck!

I recently dyed my hair red as well, but since my school only allows "natural" hair colors, I decided to dye my hair color that isn't quite natural, and not quite a bright red. So I'm sort of teetering on the edge of having to re-dye it for school :]

I recently dyed my hair a darker reddish/brown color, and it already started to fade after about 2 weeks. My aunt is a hairdresser, and she had some pure red hair dye ( and when I say red, I mean RED.) that she gave to me, and I just mixed it with some shampoo and conditioner, and every few days I use it to boost my color. The only downside is that since it is so red, it looks like there has been a murder in my shower every time I use it. :)

I am thinking about dying my hair a darker shade of brown, with some turquoise or blonde streaks in it.
If not blue, then maybe another bright color like a bright yellow or bright red.
But since I go swimming a lot, I'm not allowed to dye my hair until summer is over, Since i dont want the chlorine to mess the color up.

I think it would look great. dont worry, it will make your face look even better. i had my hair about the lenghth you have it at now, and last spring, i cut it even shorter that the middle of my neck. and my face isnt the skinniest either, but shorter hair makes it look better.I have layers with mine, and i love it. i can flip it up, or straighten it, or wear it in little pigtails. and dont worry, if you dont like it, it will always grow out :)

thanks for the advice Rhibi! My cheeks are always red and splotchy, the only bright side is that i can wear foundation and not need blush because my cheeks are so red!
