Always stand up behind your booth and greet customers as they approach. Many craft sellers suggest bringing a bar stool to sit on/or rather lean back on if your booth is busy, so it's easier for you to greet buyers as they approach.

I've been swapping on this site since 2009 and I've only had 3 flakers. One was in a near fatal accident (this one was angeled), one was suffering from severe depression and ended up sending me a HUGE package of goodies once she was well, and the other one's package got sent back to her, and she got busy and never resent, but this swap was angeled. So my experience on this site is that there are more good swappers than bad, and my so-called flakers had really good reasons for not sending. You can always ask for an angel. I'm always happy to angel because I enjoy giving more than receiving.

I love doing this swap, but I don't have money to go out and purchase something for my partner. If I could just send handmade items I would be willing to do it. Plus, Ariel and Michelle, you both have chocolate on your lists and it's not really smart to send chocolate this time of year. I know from experience, it will melt and get all over everything.

Ariel got my swap already and she loved it! I don't have pictures because I was so excited about sending it that I already had it packaged up when I remembered to take pics.
