Old Bench

Sand it, paint it a new color and upholster the top, then find a place in your house for it- at the door, at the end of the bed, in a window. That's what I'd do anyhow.

I would do the same as pinkweeds. however I would prefer to put it somewhere in the house and put some wall decals and other wall decorations to create a new atmosphere. or if you don't like decals, you can also just sand, paint and add some fake weed plants around the bench.
