so I'm re painting/ designing my room. I have currently had the obsesion of zombies for quiet some time now and decided my theme.

I have a veiw ideas for decorations thaanks to the site but i have no idea for bedspread, blankets, furniture gahhh

big chunky bold stitches on fabrics, mix matched materials as well.

I would do like a big lime green bed spread and then splat some red fabric paint across it like a blood pattern! And then do a smaller version on the pillow cases :)

You def need to have a box that looks like a first aid kit somewhere in the room, that could be part of your funiture and then also you def need the zombie survival kit! lol

Get a fake sawed-off shotgun to hang on the wall.

As for furniture, scout out some vintage pieces with interesting feet, then paint them in a bone white color before painting another design on them.

If you want some inspiration from really creepy zombies, do a Google search on "Uncle Nurgle." Definitely one of the most horrifying abominations, brought to you by Warhammer. lol

OH! I had an idea~like Pammerz said: A first aid kit, zombie survival kit...Make(or decorate) an ottaman(spelling?) to look like one and when you open it up at the bottom there is the supplies or something

I dont really have any ideas but I think this is an awesome idea for a room! I couldnt do it cuz it would scare my four year old. lol. and I like the bloodspattered bed spread idea.

This is a great room idea. I am zombie obsessed, too. My husband wrote a short story about zombie rabbits. I would love to have a zombie rabbit room.

I am guessing you want a human/zombie room though. I would do a quilt with large squares of either things that create zombies(vials,microscopes,test tubes, virus), repel zombies or things zombies love (brains, blood splatter). If you aren't into making smallish pieces though you could do a large comforter as Pam suggested.

Undead zombie themed:

Gravestones (polystyrene or cardboard).
Possibly hands erupting from the ground.

Infected zombie themed:

Needles, test tubes, smashed glass tanks, etc.


Both kind themed:

Brain/organ themed decorations.
zombie heads/limbs/ other dismembered assorted body parts.



Will probably add more at some point.

Hah. I'd been thinking about doing this to my room, same as the comforter idea from Pammerz, but the pillows were going to look like brains.

This is such a cool idea! Can't wait to get a house sorted so I can do some crazy decorating.

Riffing of Teh Morganator, could you get some wood and Halloween props to make a fake "boarded-up winder with zombie arms grabbing through"?

You can always use heavy card or foamboard if actual broken wood would be a safety hazard.

My advice would be to turn some zombie tees into framed wall hangings, have a zombie survival kit and check out halloween shops and sites for zombie decorations then make diy versions of these

Haha, made me think of a sign in a room in university next to the windows: It said 'Do not open the windows!' and someone added in permanent marker: 'zombie alarm!' :D
