    Spring Cleaning

Started about 2 years ago · Last post about 2 years ago · Displaying all 12 Post
I started spring cleaning today and I can't believe how much junk(craft supplies) I collected last year. I spend the whole day rearranging yarn baskets, fabric, hook/needles cans, books, notes, and half finished projects that someday I will find away to finish them. Just wandering if anyone else has started to clean out there crafty corner, or rooms yet?

Haha! I know what you mean about the junk! I have to clean my work station about every two weeks because I keep so much random stuff, that I just know I can find a use for. Like popcicle sticks and those advertising magnets you get from dentist and restauants. Crazy fabric and endless notions clutter my drawrs and shoe boxes.

But just about a month ago I deep cleaned everything because I had guest comming to stay at my house. And I had to try and fit all my craft items into a storage closet. I found out that I really need more crafting storage and space!

Currently my work space is crammed behind our couch in our very odd shapped living room. Even though we have a guest room, its too small to fit the guest bed and my craft table! lol! I have out grown my tiny area, and every time more than one couple comes to visit at the same time, I have to shove everything into the closet so there is room for the blow up mattress in the living room.

The only remedy for my situation (I told my husband the other day) is that we need to move into a larger house! lol. I know, I know... A girl cam dream cant she? XD

I'm going to start spring cleaning when I get home from spring break. I just got a new vacuum, and I'm really excited to use it. I probably have a ton of craft stuff to clean up and organize, but luckily I bought tons of storage containers a couple weeks ago.

I'm in a spring cleaning mood all year round. I'll randomly get home from school or being with friends and start tidying my room and throwing out things I don't want anymore.

I started spring cleaning my parent’s house a couple weeks ago. (They are getting to that hoarding stage in their lives). Its taking a lot of time to go through different closets and stuff and my uncle's funeral took a lot of my time. I spent three days cleaning walls and furniture with ammonia. My hands and nails hated me after, but it was worth it for the couple of days it lasted. Sadly the tables and chairs I spent so much time cleaning could use another good cleaning again after 50+ people tracked through the house.
