Creeper called "gift"

I was browsing a profile today and I found this as a comment:

How are you today ?,
my name is gift, I'm a young caring fair lady of 24 years old. I saw your profile today in this site ( www.cutoutandkeep.net ) and i became interested in knowing you the more and that was why i did not delay in contacting you .i will like you to contact me with this E-mail Address ( gift25desmond@yahoo.com ) so that i will give you my picture and also tell you more about my self .I will be waiting to read from you because i have SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT to tell you.thanks.

Is that not the creepiest thing?? I don't know how to report this so I decided to post it here.

Has anyone else seen "gift" leave a nice creepy message?

I've seen very similiar messages on new people's profiles. I suspect they are coming from a bot in an attempt to collect information.

Ok guys I sent Tom an e-mail about it... I have never sent a message to the site moderators so I wasn't sure where to send it. Thanks for your help!

I wish this "gift" would just return itself... Hahaha I'm lame.

(but wouldn't that be handy after x-mas?)

Yea.....one to keep a receipt for ;).....me lame too.

Looks like poor Abigail (who is a new member) has had a non member spam her profile, there's no profile pic and it's defo not legit. I've put a message on her profile to direct her to this thread.

.....Looks like 'gift' has changed their name to 'juliet'.

Seems that it is an attack on new members who may not know their way round the site.

Thanks for letting me know about this - I'm deleting all those durn comments, and checking to make sure there's not a way to slip through the system to leave these comments.

I'm thinking of putting a block on posting duplicate comments - maybe, not allow posting the same content in a comment more than once a day? That way, hopefully the bots'll stop...

Happy I have the same line to everyone who favorites my items so if I have 5 people in one day who favorite an item I send the same message 5 times.

What if your thank you message is something like:

"Thanks for adding my creation as a fav!" and before it you add Hi/Hello/Hey there...

That way every comment is different but you can still copy/paste most if it.

You can always add their name to the start of the message and leave the rest the same. Hope that hepled!

I happened to email the person and got bombarded with a scam attempt to get me to transfer money to a bank. I emailed CO&K support immediately.
