Hellooooo waves from Callie (UK)

Hellooooooo lovelies! I am so sorry that I've neglected to introduce myself here on the Intro thread ...

I'm Callie and I live, work and play in sunny South West London. An eternal magpie, I always start various crafty projects but then my eyes get drawn to someone else's superspangly plaything and I put my current craze to one side and begin another ... *haha*

I have a lovely Janome sewing machine which I've had a couple of years but (( whisper )) it's far too clever for me: I have a quilt for my best friend's little girl that I began when she was born ... she's now 4.5 years old and not likely to get it anytime soon

Used to make my own dresses many moons ago and would love to learn how to make patterns from existing pieces of clothing ... I also adore creating messes with mixed media and acrylics, and making clay pieces. I've given up all hope of learning to crochet or knit (almost 40 years of failed attempts) but would love to learn how to felt and create artwork with that.

Last week my Beloved took me off for a surprise adventure - last Autumn I was hooked on The Great Pottery Throw Down (a TV series where home potters took part, one by one eliminated), so we went along to the fabulous World of Wedgwood in Staffordshire. Amazing day and I loved the opportunity to throw my own pot!
