There is a crafts show in Manchester at what used to be the G-Mex, now called Manchester Central this coming weekend (Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st). Adult standard tickets are £7.50 and £6.50 for under 16's, if you are under 16 and go with an adult you only need to buy one adult ticket and then you can go free. I'll be there, with my mum because no one else could and hopefully a cut out and keep badge on my bag! SHAMELESS PLUGGING FOR ALL. So say hi if you go it'll be all aaawkward!

ok I don't wanna sound offensive but it was a bit um... Nanageddon! But there was loads of stalls and it was good, I had a look round but I was just so over whelmed and I forgot to look for shrinky dink plastic or resin! They had this cool thing where it was like metal stuff and they heated it up with a hair dryer like thing and then dragged this pointy thing through it and made pretty patterns and things for jewellery.

And here are some giant knitting needles:

She was doing it for Breast Cancer. There was also this thing where you could sew together all these patches for oxfam, a doggy charity and lots of those big needles every where! I feel bad cuz I didn't give any money or anything but I was meant to but I got fed up and left and forgot!!! :/

and here is the stuff I bought uuuuuuuurgh buyers regret! but I can't find this sort of stuff in town:

I like that the stitch counter looks like a frog.

At least you got stuff so it wasn't a total waste!

Roma, which one would you wanna go to? I guess Cheltenham would be easier to get to

There was lots of similar stalls but some gems with quite cheap stuff but take lots of money!!! The stall I got the scissors from had some weeell nice florally patterned ones but they were 12 quid so I wouldn't let myself. And make a list!

Hmm okay =P I still really wanna go. I never normally like where you have to pay just to go in and buy things, it seems silly to me, but I'd love to see this kind of thing. Were there demonstrations then?

I want to see the metal thing!

Yeh I don't agree with that either but I really wanted to see this kinda thing and I love Manchester so...yeh there were demonstations in the stalls and then other ones that were more workshops but you had to pay for the workshops and they were a bit rubbish to be honest! I just bought some wool on ebay but today there was loads of cheap Debbie Bliss at the show but oo well. All the stalls are actual shops up and down the country.

That's cool then. I wonder whether my craft shop will go to one of these things? Although I think they prefer going to wedding conventions as opposed to craft ones
