Insomnia Club: does anyone else have trouble sleeping?

Urgh, as you may tell from the timing of this post, I really struggle to sleep sometimes.

It's been that way since I was little but at the moment, I'm waking up after just a few hours sleep and that's all I'm getting a night. I feel a bit like a zombie Fail

Does anyone have any awesome tips I can try to get a better night sleep? I'm desperate, so I'll try anything! Sleepy

I'm listening too! I don't sleep well and that's if I can even go to sleep to begin with. And don't let me have a lot on my mind. I can give up on sleep. I recently started watching old black and white shows on Netflix to try and help me fall asleep.

Oh weird - that happened to me around this time last year @MischeviousRaven - I reckoned it was to do with sunrise. Now Bobbin seems to do it too.

I quite like waking up that early though. In the winter, there's no getting me out of bed Sleepy

@trumocha2 - thoughts keep me up too, so I keep a little notebook next to the bed and just write all my stupid little ideas down in bulletpoint lists - no matter how bad or sleep-induced-crazy they are. It really helps me clear my mind!

i hate waking up between that time. . . especially when i dont get to sleep till midnight. I should really do something productive like train for my charity run lol

Foam ear plugs help me to stay asleep, it's weird how you don't realize how much ambient noise there is until you get rid of it. As for falling asleep, I'll take tips too! Sometimes I'll be so tired then as soon as my head hits the pillow I'll remember things I meant to do and forgot or I'll start thinking about everything I need to do the next day. It can be quite a struggle Sad

I definitely have that problem!! Usually I have about a month long stretch of waking up at 2 or 3am (no matter what time I fell asleep) and then I don't fall back to sleep. Otherwise, I just have nights where I wake up every 2 hours, stay awake for half hour, then fall back to sleep. This has been going on since I was in high school... tooooo long!!! Sleepy Sleepy
