I have decided to stop swapping here. I will still do personal swaps depending on who the other person is. I'm sorry but swapping has cost me too much money, I have kept a track of all my swaps, over half of them my partner has either A) flaked, B) disappeared off of the site (and some flaked too) or C) said they have not received it. I have re-sent un-received swaps, but there is only a certain amount of times that I can afford to do that and have the materials needed.
To any of the people who still have open swaps with me: I have sent them out ages ago. If you have not received it, ask for it to be angeled.
Thank you to the few ladies who have helped me through this, offered me advice, and successfully completed swaps with me. I am very grateful for your heard work and I really appreciate it. I am sure we will keep in touch on facebook.
I will remain on CO+K, keep publishing projects and offering advice on the boards, but I will not say much due to receiving some hateful personal messages from a prominent member of this site who shall remain nameless, but told me that "having a disability is no excuse for not being able to do something". What this woman said has been eating away at me, making me reluctant to take part in any swaps that she is in. I do not wish to give her any more fuel for the vendetta she seems to have against me.
All-in-all, I think CO+K is a great place to be, but some people have ruined it for me. I have thought about this for quite some time and it is with great sorrow that I type this.
Happy crafting fellow crafters.

Wow, I can't believe someone on here would say that.. I'm sorry Nikki. I hope you're okay. Don't let it bug you too much.
I know how you feel when it comes to the swaps. I hardly ever receive my end of the swap unless they get tracking, which is apparently really expensive in the US. I've also been flaked on a few times, so I only join vets only swaps.

Hey Nikki, sorry to hear that you've had bad experiences swapping on here. The more I swap the more I realise that most are done with blind trust and faith on the fact that the other person will fufil their commitments and sometimes people let us down. I think its sad when vets feel so let down they don't want to swap anymore. I hope you don't mind but I will be angeling for the crafty kit swap as it still hasn't arrived (damn royal mail). x

Thanks all for your kind words.
@Libby, go ahead it's fine. These past few months I have sent out packages to customers, less then half have arrived... It's frustrating and costly, and I'm fed up with Royal Mail.
@Rawr.Rawr.x tracking in America is cheap (so I have been told by Americans), but it depends on weight and country for elsewhere. Tracking for me can be double the cost of shipping. I was flaked on by 2 vets, both of them have vanished from CO+K, one I even have her personal email address, she said she was going to come back and ship, then conversation stopped, silence ever since.

The tracking within the US is super cheap like $0.80 but (as rawr.rawr and I just found out) tracking internationally from the US forces you send your package Express Mail and for a small box less than 1LBS it cost $38.00! How ridiculous, anyway, I'm sorry to see packages disappear in the mail :( I've had no problems mailing to the UK, but all of a sudden this summer it got really crazy, a few have been delayed of just gone. So I feel your frustration Nikki.

Ugh that sucks! I've been fortunate enough to have not been flaked on here at all, but know people who have and was flaked on tons on swapbot, it is so annoying! But alas, its a risk most of us take cos we love doing it, i'm sorry to hear you wont be joining swaps anymore, we're losing a good vet! ^__^
