I can see that not all people on this website speak English. And my computer has something that will automatically translate the language, if it is a different, to English. But online translators are not the best. I want to learn Hungarian or French or Italian or just any language. If anyone has ideas please reply ;)

I'm Afrikaans. Not sure if you'd want to learn that though as only South Africans speak it

There's tons of books and book-cd combos through book stores, learning to write languages can generally be done by googling and research. there's also rosetta (spelling?) stone online and someone on here once mentioned a free rosetta stone type site. there might also be a "conversation group" of a language in or near your community.

I speak English and learned French first. It's a Latin based language so, I've been told, learning Italian (and Spanish, I think) is easier. when i went to Italy I could understand some written words.

I reccommend Rosetta Stone, I've been using it to learn russian. I agree with Lacey, french and english are jointly my first languages and I find written italian and spanish easy to understand because of that.

rosetta stone is the best when it comes down to it. the books really don't work unless you understand how each word is pronounced which as you can tell I can't even spell so the computer program is your best bet. And I would try to learn spanish first seeing almost every lang. out there has a latin background almost so it will make it easier to learn the rest if you are trying to learn maltiple ones. Sorry for the spelling I am way to tierd to care right now
