    New Years Resolutions?

Started over 5 years ago · Last post over 5 years ago · Displaying all 23 Post
Are you planning on making any New Years resolutions and if so, do you think you will keep them?

My one is to be more organized, which is the same as last year and I actually kept it, but this year I want to be even more organized.

I never make "resolutions", just goals.

Some of my goals for this year:
    1. See my best friend graduate from Marine Corps bootcamp
    2. Get on my feet financially
    3. Go back to Ohio to get all my stuff out of my mom's house
    4. Learn some new hobbies

I'm sure there will be more if I really think hard on it.

I did a goal thing last year, it was intended for my whole life but I've already scored out half of the list.

carry on losing weight. I've gone from a size 14 to a size 10 this year but I guess I'm just never satisfied?

don't be silly!!! a size 10 is thin enough! If you're thiner now anyway and are healthy then I think thats where to draw the line.
  8. Posted over 5 years ago
Yeah, but I'm quite short so it's all relative isn't it?

a size 10 is thin for a tall person! none of this size 0 malarky misses!

    oh i hate size zeros!

i just don't like the way I look so I'm going to change it.

Trust, if the ribs start showing when i'm relaxed i'll pull on the brakes. i hate people who are too skinny. well, too unnaturally skinny. if it's all natural it's ok, but for me it wouldn't be so.. yick!

Size zero is terrible! It makes me sad people would do that to themselves :(

Wall-mart took over a Uk supermarket called Asda, and it's gone really crappy since then!

Yeah...I grew up in a small town that just got their first one about 4 years ago. It wiped out almost all of the small business owners. The only ones to really survive were the Car and Tractor dealerships . It's sad because some of those places had been in business FOREVER! And I just can't stomach the thought of some little 12 year old kid in China, in a sweat shop, making the things that I buy. Or their unfair Employment practices.....I could go on forvever about it. I've had enough and just decided to buy Handmade or make as many things as I can, and shop for the rest at places that I know follow ethical practices.

Yeah, I don't like Asda, it feels really cramped in there and the isles are always so dirty - I much prefer Tesco for some reason.

Yeah, you might bump into sharon osborne... much better the spice girls...

Sharon Osbourne does tesco adverts now?! I thought she only did bingo. Gotta love celebrity endorsement.

    Here are my resolutions
    - drink more water
    - exercise for 30 mins a day
    - practise french horn twice a week ( I should be doing it 5 times a week but I don't have time for that and I've found I've done just as well doing two but at the moment I've been slacking off and haven't even done the two days)
    - eat more healthily
    - use cleanser and moisturiser each night
    - get into teeth routine (I've just got braces recently and have to use mouth wash, floss and brush 3 times a day)
    - get 8-9 hours of sleep each night
    - wash hair every 3-4 days
    - do all my chores before messing around on the internet
    - get homework done ASAP
    - make time to study twice a week
    - keep bedroom clean
    - learn how to meditate
    - learn how to juggle
    - learn how to touch type
