music artist recommendations please

I love to listen to a wide variety of music styles and artists, so can anyone recommend any artists that they really love.

My recommendation is Caro Emerald. She has such
an amazing voice and really jazzy upbeat songs.

So who do you recommend?

I'm a huge music nerd it's hard to pick but I think my favorite artists are Cocorosie, OkGo, Regina Spektor, Nine Inch Nails, and Florence and the Machines

I've been listening to loads of Lettie recently. I saw her live a couple of years back and she was excellent. Definitely worth a listen. A good place to find new music is Lastfm. You can link it up to your ipod or computer or whatever you listen to music through and it can recommend other artists like what you've been listening to.

I just listened to Caro Emerald, she is very good.
I have quite a few suggestions:
Birdy (Alternative), Lenka (Pop), Alexander Rybak (Pop), Lindsey Stirling (Dub step Violin), Beecake (Alternative), Olly Murs (Pop), Marina And The Diamonds (Alternative), OneRepublic (Rock), One Night Only (Alternative), McFly (Pop), and Imagine Dragons (Alternative).

I also like Caro Emerald and Olly Murs. Try MKTO, Janelle Monae, Paolo Nutini and Chris Rene. If you'd like a shot of non-English singers, try Andreas Bourani (German-my fave is the one titled nur in meinem kopf) and Sandy Sandoro (Sandy has some English songs too but its a bit hard to find his clips, most of them are concert record-try the song titled malam biru, this one has a vclip).

Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance, Asking Alexandria, Pierce the Veil, Bring Me The Horizon.... they're all quite dark, I think, but they've got some amazing songs!!!

Beach House is also pretty good

The Pierces, A fine Frenzy, Florence and the Machine, Gregory and the Hawk, Lana del Rey -> some female singers I like.

Go Back To the Zoo, The Black Keys, The Raconteurs, The White Stripes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club -> some modern bands I like

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Dire Straits, The Zombies, The Kinks, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jefferson Airplane -> some older bands I like, most of them don't make music anymore.

Also, 8tracks is a really good site to find new music. You can listen to playlists people made. However, you can not see which song is playing before it's on. I just started using it, I do not really know how it works yet.

Nice to hear you like Caro Emerald. She's from my country. The Netherlands do not bring in very much music these days.

If anyone can recommend me some 50ties 60ties music, let me know Happy
