I am thinking about taking a beginners ukulele class and we are required to bring our own instrument.

Does anyone know anything about the best beginner brand of ukulele to buy? I am hoping to spend under $75/£50.

Perhaps try craigslist for your area, my sister got a nice (used) guitar for $40 and she saw banjos for like $30 so I say at least check and if you do decide to purchase make sure the condition is good :)

I'm not sure about the best beginner brand, as I just bought any random ukulele & am trying to teach myself but I think Mahalo is quite a well known brand.

It might be worth asking the teacher at the class anyway which brand they think will be best to get!

Anyway, you can get lots of different ukuleles off ebay:) & theyre not too expensive either!
