I couldn't even begin to tell you. My reading interests are so far across the board, I dabble in a lot of different genres.

But if you're looking for YA books I liked The Reformed Vampire Support Group, The Kingdom series by Cynthia Voigt, Harry Potter, Lord of the Flies, Peter Pan (way different than the Disney movie btw), A Wrinkle in Time, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, and the Water series by Kara Dalkey. Also if you like Buffy the Vampire Slayer there is a series of books with short stories that read a lot like the tv series. I suspect they might be written by the same writers for the tv show.

    Thanks guys.
Forgot to metion I'm not a HP fan or much of a vampire fan either.(Although I do love the original Dark Shadow tv series. I think it's just hit or miss when it comes to vampires.)

Pink Weeds- Lord of the Flies and NIMH are 2 of my favorites! So I'm sure I'll like some of your other suggestions.

07alihic- I haven't heard of those yet. I have some google-ing to do

Also if you're not on Goodreads I suggest you check it out. It will take the books you've read and recommend books based off of those ones.

Read Starters by Lissa Price. It's really good. I just finished it and i'm dying to buy the next book. If you liked The Hunger Games, you'll love it.

If you're looking for a longer series, try Gregor the Overlander. It's also by Suzzane Collins and it's got five books in the series.

Or try the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. It's really futuristic. A combination of Starters and The Hunger Games. It also has five books.

Try reading "Divergent" and "Insurgent" by Veronica Roth. They are absolutely fantastic, and I think they are perfect for HG fans. The idea is completely different than the Hunger Games, but the feeling and suspense are similar. I would highly recommend these books.

    Divergent trilogy is great!
Also I would recommend the Partials s'eries.

A great site to try is Goodreads- I'm totally addicted! You put in books that you've read, rate and review books and it will suggest books based on your activity.

I just checked out Goodreads on the suggestion of PinkWeeds and Hayley S. in the above posts. It was love at first sight. !!!

My brother read all three. I only read the first. But I asked him and he recommends Divergent if you like the whole teen dystopia type of genre. Though based on his experience he would definately recommend the Clockwork Angel and the City of bones series. He said he REALLY recommends City of Bones series. He liked it a lot. :)

I loved Divergent and the partials series, but I absolutely hated City of Bones! :s
I thought it was dumb, and really badly written!

Hehe I haven't read either of them so I don't know. I want to read Divergent though, since I have heard many good things about it.
