Laptop or pc?
With a pc you could just add more memory, by buying a memory stick (by which I do NOT mean a usb drive, why people keep calling those memory sticks I don't know, drives me nuts).
Your quickest answer is just not to have so much stuff running at once, you see down in the corner? By the clock/calender? How many icons have you got down there? They are all programs open and running in the background, the more you got open the more memory is being used.

I have the same problem, and I've been told I need more "Ram"
I did look into it, and I can get a Ram thing for my laptop quite cheaply, but the instructions include screwing off some panel underneath the laptop...that scares me, as I have an unreasonable fear of electrical things. You know how some people can't watch medical operations on television...well, I feel that way when I look at a dismantled electrical appliance...all those wires and connections give me the creeps!

RAM = random acess memory = memory stickHappy
Honestly they are really easy to install. They just click into place, two minute job.
