Cute things I can actually wear to school??

Hi everybody! So in the fall I have to go to a new charter school and they are super strict about the dress code. I honestly usually wear hippy clothes, and that is really a no-go there. I have pretty much no money, so the clothes have to be affordable. And I don't have any clothes now that I can actually use, since they are in some way or another against the dress code. The rules (the important ones I am actually worried about) are the following: No denim, you can only wear clothes of the following colors: grey, maroon, light pink, light blue, navy, and white. No patterns on tops or bottoms, Pants have to be past knee cap, as for skirts the same, one bracelet on each arm only. There are TONS more, but those are what I am concerned about So my question is, where can I buy cute pants and tops that can fit the system and where can a get a multiple strand bracelet but with only one clasp? For shirts most of the girls wear polos is what it looks like, but I can barely stand polos, I am super uncomfortable in them. Do you have any ideas or tips on where I can get cute and affordable tops (mostly) and bottoms that are regular places? I looked in Macys, and I like what they have, but a cute white button up top in like 30 dollars!! So yeah, any ideas are really appreciated!

Yeah alot of my elementary schools had a "dress code" like that and my high school was a catholic all girls private school so we had the whole polos, plaid skirts, knee high socks and stuff...

Lucky for you colored skinny pants (non denim) are in this year so you should be able to find some maroon and grey ones as well as navy and white. I just saw a bunch at <a href="http://www.tillys.com/tillys/Categories.aspx?ctlg=020_Girls&cid=1072">Tilly's</a>, actually, for a decent price (these are the non-denim pants but they have even more in the colored jeggings if you can get away with them).
If that's still out of your price range look around your town for consignment or exchange stores, you can find trendy items for used prices. And if you have to wear collared shirts (that's what I'm guessing with the polo shirts) you don't have to be typical. Find shirts with cute details like pin-tucks, peter pan collars and high-low hems. I've seen lots of projects here that will show you how to alter existing shirts so you can really add a special touch to your clothes.

Also some shops might seem expensive but take a look at their sales, sign up for email updates so you can receive coupons, and you'd be surprised what amazing deals you can get on nice clothes. I always thought the limited was a little too much for me but I just got two beautiful work tops on sale for $15 dollars each! And their clearance is ridiculous! Anywho...

As for the bracelets, they are defiantly out there you just have to look... I don't know any specifically that caries them now but I've seen them everywhere from Target to Forever XXI and even at the boutique I currently work at. (I'd probably try and be sneaky and tie multiple bracelets together with a pretty ribbon and claim they came that way XD)

I hope you're able to affordably find clothes and keep your unique style Happy I'll keep my eye out for links to send you.

Ooo! Bracelet idea... like the ribbon, but this would probably look more legit. Gather your bracelets, craft/jewelry metal strips like <a href="http://www.createforless.com/K_and_S+Bendable+Metal+Strips+Brass+.032x1/4+_and_+.5+4pc/pid207300.aspx?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=cse&CAWELAID=1439900464">these</a> and a pair of needle nose pliers to bend them around your bracelets. That way you don't have to buy new bracelets, it looks legit and because it's bendable it wont be permanent if you want to switch it up.

You guys are always so helpful!!! I am not sure if skinny pants are aloud, I have to ask somebody. I also need some cardigans like the cute picknick sweater. I forgot to mention no logos are aloud, even the teeny american eagle one, they are really harsh about that. And I love the bracelet idea, I think I have the perfect metal strips actually Happy Super exited!! A big thank you to you two! Did I just rhyme? Happy
