The Little Plushie Swap 2! - PARTNERS POSTED

Hey guys! I love making cute little plushies but I have a problem I make too many of them and I don't know what to do with them later but making them is just too fun. So I want to propose a swap!

How would you feel about making a couple little plushies and swapping them for other adorable little plushies? I'm talking about cute little plushies that would be about the length of your thumb or index finger. Since these little guys would be small enough the postage would be cheap. What I love about plushies is that you can make anything with any materials. You can make felt zombies or patterned material owls. The possibilities are endless!

If this swap catches on I would like to make it ongoing.

So who's with me??? ^^

Yay! This swap has a taker! lol

Ok so how about this little form to sign up:

Name: Lo
Location: Ontario, Canada
Likes: anything unusual or abstract, anything cute, all creatures/animals, aliens, zombies, kawaii faces, I'm up for anything you want to make me!
Dislikes: Anything too girly, frilly, or pink but a little pink would be okay too

So if you want to sign up just post that form with your info so we know what you like/dislike and so I can partner you with people around you if you like.

Jeeze, I'm going to be in so much trouble for doing another one of these! How many do we make? Just one, or what? (and are plushies made of felt or does it matter?)

Name: Dessah H.
Location: Brunswick, Georgia (USA)
Likes: Anything cute, it doesn't matter. I'll probably give it to my son (if you don't mind) so if you do buttons, sew them on REALLY tight. ;)

Dislikes: Not a fan of scary, dead, or dark things. (zombies or vampires...Sorry!)

When is the send out date?

Thanks to everyone for signing up! ^^ I'm excited that there's going to be more than just 2 people (no offence to the early people it's just more fun to see all the pics from what people got)

So since this thing is taking off here's what I was thinking: We send out anywhere from 1 to 4 small plushies (depending on the size and details) I'm talking about plushies small enough so that all the ones you want to send "should" fit in a normal envelope and the postage should be no more than 2$. This swap is just a fun low budget thing - no intense pressure ;) If you want to make 1 large plushie with lots of detail that's ok and if you want to make 4 cute little ones that's fine too. As for material I find felt is really nice to work with when making small plushies but if you like using scraps of fabrics that's ok. I really just want this swap to have basically no limit on what you can make.

Now for the sendout date I was thinking that we'll end sign up on the 7th (this saturday) and I'll post partners on the 8th. Sendout date will be the 16th which gives us a week from next monday. Of course if you fall behind you can talk it out with your partners.

If all goes well and we like doing it we might make this an ongoing thing. So, what do you guys think?
