well what does he like?

or waht does he do?

My dad loves coffee, so I got him a huge coffee cup one year, and my dad is a handy man, so one year was a chocolate hammer

Sorry, i didn't have enough time to give any details. Well...
he likes hiking
he is a gadget freak
likes tetris, dominoes, and battle ship
he is a very buisness type of guy, so i never know what to get him.
The only thing i can think is something for his den. He wants to decorate it all old fashioned, with tin signs, and such. Kind of like Cracker Barrel, if anyone knows what that place is like.
Basically, i need something that is fantastic, and costs me practically nothing (i am quite broke!) :(
HELP!!!!

mmmmmm.......
something that costs you practically nothing you say....
you could find old planks, or maybe use a wooden tomato crate and join them together to form a flat surface (lay the planks vertically. Place a plank horizontally at the top and bottom at the back to form a support. Glue or use nails to join the vertical planks to the horizontal planks). Hope you understand what I mean? Now decorate it by either painting or decoupaging it and sealing it. It would be nce if you let some of the wood show.
Hope this helps?

hmmm, that is an interesting idea. He likes maps, so mabey i could use that. thank you, Tracy C.!

michelle G, maybe i will do something with coffee. He loves that. The chocolate hammer sounds adorable! unfortunately, he really only knows how to use duck tape. :)

You could find pics on the internet of vintage advertising posters, download one, print it and frame it.
I love tin signs myself they used to be dead cheap but not anymore *sigh*

Thank you for all your help everyone. I've decided to wood burn a plaque for him. It says "Take a hike", and i'm gonna put some trees and stuff on it. He never gets to go hiking, so he will like this. I'll have to do the duck tape thing when I have more moola. I also want to make him one of those book page card holders, but I don't know how. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and how to make them? If so post a how-to then send me a message. Thanks again!!!!
