So, I have seen these on Craftster and they look pretty fun.

With that in mind I would like to do a craft along with this pattern : http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/patterns_display.php?id=35

I just bought the pattern and I am super excited to make it! I was thinking we could post pics of the bag in the process of being made and the final result, good or bad.

This is neat!! I love the bag. I would love to see everyone else's! I am not that great of a sewer...I hope ppl join this so i can maybe get un-intiminated with a project like this :D

I would love to do a craftalong. However I'm saving any spare cash I have so I can't buy the pattern. Maybe if you can host another one next time with a free pattern from online I can join that. Can't wait to see what you all come up with :D

On the pattern. I tried my first one. On to the 2nd to work out the kinks of the first. I ran out of fabric for the inside so I have to wait until friday when I can go to the fabric store without the 3 children in tow. And after that I will finish the second one. Then make a 3rd while taking pics for the tutorial and then I will post it. Man this is alot of work! But I am loving it. (;

So, I went to start putting the second attempt together, and some crap happened. And then I fixed it and then stupid easy stuff kept going wrong. So at the moment I am super pissed at it, and can't touch it. If I do I might get mad at it and rip it to bits. Sorry. But, I will go back to it later when I have calmed down. I think I will work on the easier crafty challenge and my swap.

Once, again I am sorry. But I need to walk away for now I have worked to hard on this one and don't want to waste my time or money.

I have the pattern, and Marieke is fixing to get it. So, if you get it the we should definately go ahead with the sophia craft along! And even if I mess up I will post! So, once we all get the pattern and supplies we can start.

Cool. There are alot of materials for this one too. So, I think it won't be until next month when I can gather them all up...

And I just got Marieke's in the mail so I will be sending it out to her sometime in the next week.

Tara: still waiting on my pattern it is coming from amerinca, so hopfully it won't be too much longer :), and waiting untill next month to start is fine, i have hurt my back and finding crafting a bit hard at the moment, so hopfully my back will be better by next month.

Oh, I hope it feels better! Marieke doesn't have hers yet either she is also waiting for it to come from the states. LOL, and I am still gathering materials. There is a lot of stuff that goes into making this bag!

But, yeah feel better. (= And none of us are in a hurry so that is good.
