I hit the jackpot

Seriously. On of my boyfriend's mother's friends was over today and she knows how I love to sew and such and mentioned to me how she has some swatches of fabric in the back of her car I might be able to use.

OH DID SHE.

Apparently her husband works for an architecture/ design co. who cleared out all their old inventory of swatches to make room for new ones.$15,000 dollars worth of swatches between two boxes. We sorted through them and I took a box worth. So I have probably 1,000 swatches most of them 10" x 10"

But what do I do with all of them???? They're so cute looking I know I can piece together wallets, clutches, patchwork purses and bags... I'm even going to make an ipod touch cover for my boyfriend. There is lots of woven textiles and "eco friendly leather" aka pleather. Any body got any idea's???

Oh man, I would love swatches that size to make dice bags for me and my friends... Willing to trade some of them? lol

There are limitless things you could do... make tons of quilts, wall hangings... maybe even a fabric scrapbook.

So jealous!

I'm waiting for school to end in order to start swapping but once I do I'll be sending some out with every swap Tongue

Quilts would be a great idea with the all the squares already pre-cut XD

Ooh, well.. I'll be trying to swap with you a lot then! Haha. I need some interesting fabrics to do stuff with.
I might start making Nintendo DS cases again.
