Does anyone here know how good online photography courses are? I'm thinking about taking the one offered by www.thephotographyinstitute.co.uk I'm very interested in it, but I just wondered if anyone here, or anyone you might know has experience with something like this.

It's difficult to say what you'll get that differentiates an online course from simply reading up really hard on a topic, and getting work and a portfolio to sell yourself with... There's always Open University courses too, and cheap..
