Making "OLD" paper

You could use COFFEE to stain it and make it look vintage.... It REALLY works and I've tried this BEFORE!!

I pat used tea bags on cardstock to make old looking paper.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever tried using watercolor paper? it's stiff, and somewhat thick, and meant to absorb liquids, obviously.. but I wonder if it's maybe *too* stiff?? Just wondering...
