iconic figures cross-stitch

so I was thinking about what I could do once I'm finished making the gazillion [well it feels like it] plushies that I've been asked to make, and I thought that maybe I'd do some cross-stitching... but I wanna do something different.
something like silhouettes of iconic figures, or quotes.

any suggestions of a person or quote that I could use?

That, ozzy osbourne, jimi hendrix, janis joplin, albert einstien [hair would be fun Happy], andy warhol [again, hair would be fun], david bowie [C'MON... he is perfect. He has so many amazing easily recognizable characters], bob marley [AND AGAIN, hair would be VERY fun]. Bob dylan, the beatles, Gandhi, Elvis Costello, etc. etc. etc.

ooo I'd well make one of Stephan Fry...I love him! Bowie would be good, with the lightning face stuff and the colours. Do you have some sort of photo shop thing, if you move the contrast up and take the colour off it can be really good to help get it really recognisable, so you can pick out all the right shapes and tones... you know what I mean

I have a program where you can import a picture and it puts it into cross-stitch for you. Helpful!

giraffes mostly... people seem to like them, although I really don't like making them. too fiddly. lol
I'm trying to get them finished as quickly as possible so that I can move on to the other projects I've thought up recently...

I was thinking of marilyn, audrey & dylan already. but you guys have come up with so many other great things that I'm going to have a tough job choosing who to start with!

I think my mum had a programme that converted pictures to patterns, but god knows what happened to that! lol
I'm just going to attempt to do it myself with graph paper...
