Fimo "Filler" (Help)

I was going to make a cube, but I was wondering if it would be okay to put foil inside it to fill it up so I don't have to use as much fimo. I was wondering if it would hurt it or smell bad when I put it in the oven.

Oh and I was also wondering about making charms. I don't have pins so I was going to make my own out of wire. Do you put the pin/wire into the fimo and then bake it or will it melt/stick to the pan?

You should be able to use kitchen foil, you need to really compact it down though and put the hole in before baking, also keep any scrap clay because it'll be useful to use as cores for beads in the future (also great for saving money)

The wire should be fine in the oven the melting point should be much higher than the baking temp for fimo.

Thank you so much. Put a hole in the foil or the whole project? (Probably a stupid question. XP )

Through the whole thing once you've sculpted it all, then you can smooth out any flaws and then bake and it should work, i did it once for a school project and it worked x

And I use wire al the time for beads. I make a headpin shape. My stuff is really small, so it works fine.
