Question about polyfill

I was wondering if anyone knows if you crochet a toy for a dog if you can stuff it with polyfill will it be harmful to the dog?

I already have everything to make some dog toys for a friend but I wanted to make sure if it was okay to stuff it with the polyfill or if I had to stuff it with something else?

Thanks
Sahm

Polyfill is fine to use for stuffing dog toys...that's what the dog toys sold in shops are stuffed with, and also dog beds so it's quite safe. It's also used in baby toys, so it meets all safety regulations and is ot toxic.
But make sure you sew up the opening well, my dogs love pulling the stuffing out of their toys and scatteringing it all over the place if they get the chance!

Polyfill is fine for stuffing everything... but if the dog you're making a toy for likes to rip his/her toys apart, you could stuff it with sheets of quilt batting or even large fabric scraps to keep the possibility of a fluffy mess down.

Thank you very much. I thought it was safe but I just wanted to make sure.
