Woodstock Party

Hey!
I'm having a Woodstock themed party for my 18th birthday.
I'd like to make decorations myself.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I quite like Tye Dye Table cloths, what do you think?
Happy x

Heres another idea, maybe you could make some signs like this:

And hang it around the room on the walls. Its cheap and looks great.
And Ill post some stencils later, that you could also use.
Hope it helps.

Don't forget beads n flowers n candles. Rustic earthy toned throws for furniture are great and beanbags.

Typical food is finger food. Do something like a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit pieces. Fondu is fun too as it gets people laughing when they try to keep melted stuff on food. Put loads of snacks in bowls. A huge pan of chilli (can be meat or veggie) and french bread sticks is an easy one cos you can make it and keep it in a slow cooker and usually goes down well. cooked meats, small pies and pickles are usually a safe bet too. Throw in a bit of salad for colour and make a huge jelly in different colours. Adults are really just big kids and it will get a laugh Happy

Mmm chocolate fountains are fab!
Yeah serving something hot would be alot different rather than normal buffet food.
I was thinking for invites i could hand out a cupcake in a handmade box?
What do you think?
I would use the Tye Dye cupcake recipes on here and my uncle may be able to get me free card to make the boxes with.
I thought it would be a wacky and unusual idea lol
