Recycled Craft Supply Swapping Penpal Wanted!

Hello,

My name is Claire. I'm currently in the UK and I'm looking for someone from abroad to swap craft materials with. I love crafts using recycled goods like soda can tin, bottle tops, juice pouches and other packaging.
I think it would be great to pair up with someone abroad to swap these items so that we both end up with a variety of supplies that are a wee bit more interesting and unfamiliar.
If we swapped maybe once a month, I think it would be a great way to swap tips, inspiration, problem solve etc! Maybe you have a surplus of somthing your never going to use, or have a found object your just not inspired to use but think someone else could be?
That sort of thing, no money is spent except on postage. Just a great way to mix up your craft supplies. And get a crafty pen-pal in the process!! Any resulting crafty projects can be detailed on here.

Just an idea, if anyone is interested in giving it a bash, please message me. I am and absolute horder of anything that looks useful and can't wait to pass on my surplus or recycled goods. I love to use resin, silver, beads, found objects and anything music related in my crafts ie. cassettes, vinyl records etc to make jewellery and home objects. I'm not looking for an exact match in intersts, but just so you guys know what I'm generally in to.

Hope to hear from someone soon!
Claire xx

This is such a cool idea! I don't know if I can get involved, just yet, but I couldn't help but be your cheerleader!! How cool would it be to make recycle crafts out of things from another country? I know here in the U.S., we'd get a lot of interest and chat about pieces that look so different. Oh, Rachie Pin Up should get involved, she lives in Israel! Imagine the funky cool stuff she could provide! Oh, and Violetta, she lives in Serbia....argh, I so need to get a job, so I can support my addiction to crafts and swaps...

Hey, Thanks for replying. I have messaged the three members who are outside the U.K. I think 3 three is all I can commit to at the moment. But I hope anyone else who is interested in doing the same finds a swapping partner! I'm away to raid the cupboards and see what I can find! Cheers guys, Claire xxx
