Lots of nice fabrics.. NO IDEAS! :(

I got some really nice fabrics from my grandma recently :3 But I have nooooo idea what to do with them!!
It's tricot, a stretchy T-shirt kinda fabric. A bit like jersey.

I have:

100 x 150 cm (1 x 1,6 yard) ..of red.
170 x 150 cm (1,8 x 1,6 yard) ..of thin black&white stripes.
170 x 150 cm (1,8 x 1,6 yard) ..of black with large white polkadots.

What would YOU make if you had these fabrics? Tongue

Thank you :3 I really want to make a skirt out of it, but I'm really thinking about what kind of details I'll add, or if I could make the waistband of the dotted skirt from the red fabric..

I don't have any inspiration!! I want to make it a pretty skirt, and I would also want to make a cute top out of the other fabrics but.. Just no inspiration at all for some details!!

Look on burda style they have lots of patterns for that kind of stuff. And if you want inspiration flickr has awesome crafters on there. When I am out of craftiness I go there... (=

OMG, I would put them altogether, make a cute-n-funky dress, probably in a style like the dresses popular in the 50s...That is, if I had a sewing machine and knew what the hell to do with it, LOL. But I'm not the one with the fabrics, am I? Yeah, think White Christmas(cuz in that movie, it wasn't just Christmas time...and the girls wore some super cute dresses. My fave is the one Vera Ellen wore in the scene where she suggests to Danny Kaye that they pretend to be engaged. I think it's black and white gingham with a bright red belt, and a little white cardigan.
