    zombie/waterproof

    Hi there, Im looking to make a zombie outfit, i know i could just cover a dress in cheap fake blood but Id like to be able wash it and use it again

    Is there anything anyone can recomend dye wise etc i can use that wont run in the wash?

    RIT dyes won't wash out, but they can take a long time to set in. Also, Tulip makes tie-dye dyes that come as powder in bottles. You can get them as a set or individually. As long as your fabric is 100% cotton, the colors will stay bright.

    Get a permanent dye and use a stiff paint brush to splatter it. I did this for Halloween only I was a zombie killer :D

    cake dye. its oil based and wont wash out. it may fade alittle bit

    If you ever want to reuse the dress, you can make a really thin gravy and dye it red with food coloring. I used to make this for our training as an emt so we could judge the amount of blood a victim had lost.
