Any Ideas?

Hey out there everyone! I'm an avid crocheter (even though I don't post my projects on here often Tongue) and I'm having I guess you could call it a "crafters block"? And I need some new ideas of what to crochet (or knit...any kinda craft really). So throw out your ideas! Let me know what all of you guys are thinking! I can be just a random idea or even a pattern. I don't care! Thanks! Happy

Hm... scarves, headbands, maybe doilies?

If I could crochet, I'd make myself washcloths and pot holders and stuff. lol

I recently have made a Granny "square" blanket, it is continuous it is one giant square (Fook a bunch of small ones.. lol) and one the same way but a pentagon, going to post those soon actually the pentagon one is going to be called the "Human Blanket" LOL.

Also just get all left over yarn and crochet a scarf and just use each color till it is gone...

and Monika... in about 3 weeks start a wash cloth and pot holders swap and have option sewing (my friend has some cool dish cloths her sis made.) or crochet and I can participate in that one. I have almost finished one swap and right after one more and a wedding gift, but I'll surely participate in something like that. Again all are almost completed they will round off in about 3 weeks, and there will be none Happy

That happens to me so often >.<
Well, as Krista mentioned granny squares... you can make them while blocked and then turn them into something--- a purse, I saw a image of some boots-slippers made of granny squares....

Hi Justine! I'm an avid crocheter too. If I'm in a rut I find myself checking out crochet blogs for inspiration. I also like to challenge myself by working with really fine thread or some other material and hook I don't usually work with. I especially love the MyPicot.com site because it usually challenges me to try a new-to-me pattern that grows my skills. Youtube has also become one of my favorite learning tools and I don't let the fact that the video is in Portuguese or Spanish stop me from learning. I don't speak these languages by the way. Hope this helps
