Your favorite cake

Well I recently tried Red Velvet for the first time and couldn't believe I hadn't tried anything that yummy before. I want to make sure there aren't other cakes I missing out on...

If you have access to a Mexican bakery you should definitely try Tres Leches cake. It's super yummy, its traditionally served at weddings. It's basically a sponge cake that is soaked in 3 different types of milk.

Also Black forest cake is really good.

My favorite cake flavors are:
Yellow Cake
Pumpkin Cake (I make pumpkin cupcakes!)
Spice Cake
Lemon Cake

I love all cakes but my favourites are Battenberg, Carrot Cake, Coffee & Walnut Cake & Bakewell Tarts. I fancy cake now ;)

Traditional red velvet cake is chocolate cake (not vanilla) with buttermilk and cocoa (giving it that rich red look, not food coloring) with a cream-cheese or vanilla frosting. But yes it is yummy Happy

My favorite cake is an almond poppy seed cake with cream cheese frosting, seconded only by Chocolate

Lemon pound cake is definitely my favorite, and I also like pretty much anything with dark chocolate or raspberries, preferably both. I also kinda like carrot or banana cake, even though they're not as rich and good as the others.

Carrot Cake, Lemon Drizzle Cake and most of all a moist Chocolate Fudge cake...which is easy to get wrong if it turns out dry.

I have cheated on occasion and used a Betty Crocker Devil's Food cake and people always remark on my amazing cake making skills (sssshhhh!)

My favorite cakes are strawberry cake with fruit slices on top. German chocolate, yellow cake, coconut cake, 7up cake so good an chocolate chip cheese cake. Then there're so many more cakes I love eating too. Happy

Tiramisu (is that a cake? sorta lol), Carrot cake, spice cake ...sure theres 1 im missing.

My favorite cake that I made was a chocolate coffee cake. It was amazing. And rather than using a double boiler to melt the chocolate, you melt it in the coffee- so rich and yummy!

wedding cake and rum cake! or even better a rum cake with wedding cake icing it's weird bc everytime I start to crave wedding cake someone I know either gets engaged or married...weird!
