What I mean is what bright clothing can you wear without looking like a fool?

I don't wear much bright stuff. Turquoise is the brightest I would wear a nice shade of it with black

I have a big purple T-shirt that I wear with skirts, but I don't promise that I don't look like a fool in it. Happy

I have quite a colourful wardrobe, today I have an orange top on and I've got jeans on and to tone it down I'll wear a black cardi, I also have bright orange leaf earrings that go with it but don't make me look like a carrot or burn off peoples eyebrowns cuz I don't go out in all one colour. Bright colours don't look stupid unless you put a load of different ones together, and if you're worried about sticking out then well like I said don't wear lots of different bright colours together or an outfit made of the one colour lol.

I've got a pretty cool black jumper, the sleeves are neon green and black stripes and I've cut it down so it's like a crop jumper with a wide neck (so basically a strip of fabric around my chest and sleeves), that looks good with a bright pink shirt and jeans. Most people can get away with wearing a bright colour top with blue or black jeans. It depends what colour skin you have and what hair you have though - my ginger friend can't wear red, pink, orange or yellow cause it looks ridiculous.

well... I'm not sure if I look like a fool, but I DEFINATLY make people smile

I wear a neon green tutu, usually with a black top.

Or I'll wear a NEON orange top that I love, with my black vest and dark-wash jeans. I also have some neon green skinny jeans that I wear with any NUMBER of black t's I have.

I think its all about what you wear it with. Do that POP of color, with netural or semi-netraul other people.

I love wearing bright pink, it's my favourite color and I look good in it thanks to my skin color! I like to mix it with neutrals or dark colors, dark grey is the best!

I think it's super easy to look really stupid and cliche when you go for what's fashionable. When you see everyone wearing the same things it stops being interesting and starts looking trite.

I think that you should completely disregard everything that everyone's said and just go for anything that you think looks cool. If you like it, then it matches.

Isn't that what trend setters do?

i agree with Kat. don't worry about what other people would think was cute. wear what YOU think is cute. The only difference between looking foolish and looking slick is your attitude. if you think you look slick, you'll be confident and be able to pull it off. BUT if when people look at you they can tell you feel awkward in your get up, hands down they'll think you look like a fool.

i've been known to put together some crazy looking outfits [mismatching shoes, little girls dresses as tops, etc.] but im confident and i love my style so at school im known as "the only girl who could pull that off" its all about the attitude poodle lover. so wear what YOU want to wear and wear it with confidence && no one except maybe your parents will think your crazy! lol

I've seen some confident looking people and I'd still call what they wear foolish looking. But thats their choice, what they were doesn't affect me, just as what I wear doesn't affect them, I'm sure they probably think I look mad too.

but what you wear does affect the way you feel about yourself and that projects to ppl

I agree with cat and chase.

There are some things that do just look bad, but sometimes it doesn't matter, because that becomes a trend as well. hense.. the ENTIRE 80'S. lol.

lmfao @ mullets. Happy

there is a girl at my school who wears fanny packs, and her hair is... like a rollarcoaster i suppose... eh.. well... I think she looks INCREDIBLY foolish, and I dislike almost everything she wears [like a grandmother's oversized sweater off the shoulder with leopard print pants and fanny pants] but the other people think she is amazing.

I don't dislike her, actually, I total respect that THAT is what she likes, and she chooses to wear them no matter what anyone else thinks.

So sometimes, even though you may look foolish to some, you'll be seen as amazing by more! Happy
