False nails

I know a few people on here are experts with this kind of thing, so I thought I'd leave it open.

I bought a home kit for false nails and put them on yesterday (for a play). I wanted to paint them red but the paint I used wasn't right. Can I use nail varnish remover on them? Or will that ruin them?

And is there a way I can get them off easily after Tuesday? I mean they're only meant to last ten days anyway so if worst comes to worst I'll bear with it but if I could get them off before it would be FAB

I've never worn false nails, but my Aunt owns a tanning parlor/nail salon...and I think as long as you use non-acetone remover it should be all right...and I guess I'd be careful to use as little remover as possible.

Oh, I just noticed this was posted on the 23rd...if they only lasted 10 days, I'm probably no help at all. Happy

I just soaked them briefly in varnish remover and they came off fairly easily. Thanks anyway x
