I want red lipstick soooooooo badly, but I can't find the right shade. I have tried two shades. One is On the Prowl from Hard Candy and the other is IncREDible from Avon. I think both shades look a little weird on me. I'm pretty sure most of it is because I've never worn that bold of a lip before so I think I'm just not use to it. But I don't know if I just have the wrong shade for my skin tone. You can look at any of tutorials to see my skin tone. And if anybody could suggest a color from a brand(preferably a drugstore brand).

I have olive undertones like you do and I use Hot Tamale by mabelline. To be honest I got it just because I liked the name :)

There are SO many types of red lip stick it's ridiculous. A red lipstick I swear by is Very Cherry #635 from Maybelline. It's an absolute true red. I hate buying a lipstick with blue/green undertones, ugh, it bothers me so much. I've tried some of Hard Candy's products and I'm not impressed. I feel you are just paying extra for their pretty packaging, though I like the loose glitters they have. A trick when you are first using red lip stick is too put a small amount on, and gradually increase the brightness with wear, it helps you get use to wearing such a bright, bold color :)
