they will grow out of it, they need some training. My dog was the same way untill she turned 4 months old

They just dumped my chocolate on the ground and pulled the bows off the christmas presents too >_<

Well, they used to do okay but now it is cold and they don't want to go outside anymore to play.

MY kitten gets a little over-excited sometimes as well... Make them some toys from scrap materials with some sort of crinkly sounding filling, that should keep them occupied for a little while. Heretic just loves attacking my tracing paper because of the noise it makes lol. Keep all of the stuff you dont want them playing with in a drawer, or some-place they cant get into.

One thing my friends told me about is you can mix pepper and water, spray it on the cords, not to where you can get hurt but when the animals (kittens) go to bite it, it wont be so enjoyable they wont want to bite onto them I have 5 cats, two of them are kittens, the kittens love to get into my feathers and attack my yarn, not to mention it seems the best place for them to lay is smack dap on what your doing or reading lol. love'em.

Hi, I raised 4 kittens from 4 wks old after their mum died. I can really empathise with your position.

I gave them empty thread tubes to play with and made them catnip toys which I hung from a pole with string. It was long enough for them to be away from me. I used to place it under the chair cusion I was sitting on while using my sewing machine, then I sat on it. It kept them busy and me cat free....Lol

Kittens are very active and need lots of attention. You could try putting a ping pong ball in a box that they can jump in and out of. It keeps them amused for hours

I used to unthread my machine and drop the needle after sewing as the little monsters would unthread it anyway and I didn't want them hurting themselves on the needle.

We have a semi feral cat living in our garden at the moment. He has his own cat box wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of blankets. He wakes me every morning by scratching the door for breakfast...Lol

Kittens do eventually calm down. You just have to treat them like they are 2 year olds....my cats are now teenagers....argh they bring me mice!

I've been making them toys, they just tear them apart faster than I can make them! lol. Though, with xmas coming up, giant bells are really cheap so I've been giving them tons of bells to roll around.

All of my kittens and cats love it when my mom or I start a new sewing project. They never get tired of playing with balls of crinkled up pattern paper. Add a catnip toy to the mix and you can cut, pin, and sew in peace... for a little while at least. Haha.

I don't think cats ever outgrow being mischevious. My mom's cat was maybe 5 or 6 years old when she knocked over an oil painting that was drying and we came home to find green pawprints all over the place and it took weeks to come out of her fur!
