with valentines day on the way i wanted to surprise my hubby with a valentines day picnic i was super excited for it and i have been getting ready for it for a while. now the only thing i'm worried about is the weather, it has been raining randomly for the past month and i hope this sunday doens't rain cause it would really ruin my plans. i can't really think of another place to set up our little romantic picnic, i wanted to do it at the park where he first asked me out, where we had our first kiss and when we first held hands, i can't imagine a more perfect place. i'm gonna bake him some cupcakes, and make us some sandwhiches and make some fruity drinks, i even made a mix of our favorite big band 1940's songs. i went as far as buying a real picnic basket and the picnic table cloth. lol. anyway, can anyone figure out where else can i have a picnic if it ends up raining on valentines day????

ok so i just got a lip piercing about two weeks ago, im kinda on the edge on how it looks on me, i'm about to turn 19 this upcoming thursday (yay happy birthday to me!) but im not sure if having a piercing at my age is appropriate. i mean it's not like i do drugs or anything but in my community tattoos and piercings are always looked down upon, though people have gotten more accepting of them. but having this piercing, though i love it very dearly, i think is gonna give me trouble when i'm trying to look for a job. some employers aren't gonna be so forgiving of the whole thats pierced through my bottom lip. i guess i just have to sit down and think what's really more important in my life, what people think of me, or what i think of myself. does that make sense?? well on the mean time i'll enjoy my new lip piercing :)

i used to wear high waited jeans all the time, but until recently all my local shops stop provided them... i was just wondering if anyone knew of a place here in LA, who provides a different variety of high waisted jeans? i just love these because it gets rid of your muffin top instantly, i think all girls should wear these, i know i'm tired of seeing girls' gut hanging out of their jeans,including mine!
(miss them :()

ok, so i've had the bettie page hair for a looooong time now
(like you see in this pic, i've been trying to grow them out)
but i think it's time for change, growing out my bangs has been...hmmm...A PAIN IN THE ASS! cause once they are longer they tend to frizz up and look poofy, and nasty. but i don't see another way to go about changing my pinupALEX hair....any ideas??

ok so many people always ask how i do my make-up... though i can't exactly tell them step by step i usually tell them the kind of products i use...
i always start with a clean face, and cover it all up with concealer, foundation, and powder to set things...
i then add my favorite, the eye-liner... it's not a pin-up look if it doesn't have the wing shape to it...this may be hard to achieve, but with many hours of practice you achieve perfection...i have been doing my eye liner like this since i was in 7th grade...so i've had alot of practice :)
we then add the fake lashes! we only add these for a night look, if your doing this as a day kind of make-up then don't add the lashes.
now for the mascara.... you can never have too much on, i seriously go through 2 tubes a month...i am obssesed with it!
you now add some blush to your cheekbones...remember to smile as you're applying it with a big fluffy brush!
and to pull the whole look together you add you're favorite shade of a bold color lipstick....red is ofcourse, everyones favorite, though i like using a redish orage sometimes
and there you go!
here's are my results(minus the fake lashe);
