How would you describe your style?

Space Lady meets Boho Tomboy.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

I really love the dress I'm wearing here, it's slightly crinkled material which works well for travelling. I can wear it for a night out just as good as tucked into a pair of shorts. Other than that, my harem pants. Sooo comfortable.

Who are your style icons?

I don't have anyone in particular that I follow religiously. My inspiration is taken from quirky personal style around the globe. Sometimes it is people that apaprently have nothing in common with my own style, my own way of dressing. Not really interested in the perfectly on trend stuff.

Do you have any favourite designers?

Well I am not much into designer fashion, but one where I do like the designs often is Kenzo. Yohji Yamamoto. Sacai. I seem to be into japanese ones haha. But really, I will say okay that collection looked good, then the next season the same designer will be utterly uninteresting for me.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

I like flea markets or thrift shops a lot. Other than that I am it in no mans land at the moment as I'm changing my shopping towards smaller and/or more sustainable labels. I just got my first tee from People Tree.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I sometimes customise, but it is simple things like taking a pair of scissors to a t-shirt or adding buttons or paillettes.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

Wear things that express who you are. Either in clothes or with the choice of accessories. I am not going to say "add a pair of statement earrings" because maybe that's not you. Play around with what you have. Eliminate everything from your wardrobe that is superflous because it is either too faded, not fitting or just not giving you the happy vibes anymore. Really the best way to personalise an outfit is wearing clothes & accessories that are 100% making you feel good. Everyone is different. You can do a lot with accessories, even if you have to wear a certain dress code for work maybe. But really everone is different and that's why getting to know what kind of clothing does it for you is the base for everything.

Which other fashion blogs do you love to read?

Oh this is a hard one. I really loved Karla's Closet but she hasn't really blogged much ever since she started her own clothing line. Most fashion blogs follow the current trend railway, so they aren't really my thing. But I'm always happy to discover new ones.
