How would you describe your style?

I swing between colourful cartoon and creepy girl. I love pattern clashing and any excuse to dress to a theme.

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

I have so many pieces I love, most of which come from awesome local designers. I do have a few dresses from the fabulous Coco Fennell, who's pieces just fit so nicely. My favourite of these has to be the Pill Popper dress which was a collaboration between Coco Fennell and my favourite scarf designer Karen Mabon. It always makes me feel fun and fabulous when I wear it.

Who are your style icons?

I love anyone that has fun with fashion and isn't scared to go a little over the top. Paloma Faith has some awesome style and Iris Apfel has such an iconic look, both of which I adore. I also love taking inspiration from movie characters like Amélie, Wednesday Adams, Enid from Ghost World and anyone from a Wes Anderson film.

Do you have any favourite designers?

I love Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Elsa Schiaparelli - all designers that mix creepy or abstract with full on fashion. Closer to home I love that there are so many fashion designers based in the same city as me (Dundee). Isolated Heroes, Hayley Scanlan, Dreamland and Kerrie Aldo are some of my favourite local ladies.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

Whenever I hear the words 'pop up shop' I get a little over excited. They give a great opportunity to shop smaller designers and have the added fun of only being around for a limited time.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

Having studied Clothing Design at uni you'd think I'd be totally into making my own outfits. The truth is that this usually ends up with falling out with my sewing machine. I get far to impatient and want to have a finished item straight away. I feel much happier when I'm customising an item or DIYing some accessories. I love adding to something and making it unique.

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

Have fun with accessories, they are a great way to add personality to an outfit. A novelty bag, statement necklace or floral crown can be the perfect finishing touch. If you want to get customising then hit the charity shops. You can pick up some bargains, get creative with the haberdashery and if it fails, it's not too much of a loss. And the more you try the better you get. Practice makes perfect after all!

Which other fashion blogs do you love to read?

I love catching up with my favourite Scottish red heads - Forever Yours Betty and Frankly Ms Shankly. As well as style queens from across the UK - I Want You to Know, Mermaid Gossip and Archer Avenue being at the top of my list. I've also just gotten into watching vlogs and can't get enough of Colour Pop Girls, Helen Anderson and Zoe London.
