Bake some Vanilla Ginger Scones in #ABiteToEat with Bundrick's Traveling Tea Parlour in Austin, Texas.

How did you get started?

It has long been a dream of mine to own a tearoom and after living in Austin's rich food truck culture for four years, my husband came up with the brilliant idea of starting the tea truck! Bringing the joy and simple pleasure of teatime to Austin has been both challenging and rewarding for us. There is nothing more enjoyable than sipping tea in the sun on a beautiful day with pretty vintage china and snacking on sweet bites and Bundrick's is the perfect place to do just that.

Where are you located?

We are located in East Austin tucked away in a quiet lot on the corner of E 7th Street & Navasota.

What are your specialities?

We specialize in serving the finest teas & the most scrumptious homemade scones. We also dabble in finger sandwiches and yummy sweet bites like fresh fruit tarts and lemon squares.

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

The Afternoon Tea Service is our favorite thing. It really gives you a little bite of everything on the menu and as the quote from Henry James goes
“There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.”

What's on the stereo?

Edith Piaf, Gus Viseur, Django Reinhardt, & Pink Martini

Where else should we visit in your area?

Boteco, Our neighboring Food Truck that serves Brazilian Street Food. Try the Yuca Fries and the Coxinhas!

Do you host any special events?

Yes, We often have special tea parties at the park and offsite as well. We are great for special occasions.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?

“Tea is the only simple pleasure left to us.”
? Oscar Wilde
