Join us for a #CraftRoomTour of Sonya's craft room in California.

I love the light and all the windows, the white floors, and the big tree in the yard. The house was built in 1915, this room was added on a little later to make the house bigger. It's the loveliest room in the house.

Tell us about your space

About 200 square feet. I do quite a bit of costume sewing in here. Dyeing and woodworking I take outside.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

I have lots of orchids on the windowsills that brighten up the space and give me something to enjoy looking at.

How do you keep organized?

Piles, I keep things in piles!

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

I use baskets and bins to put things in but it still gets quite messy.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I love my vintage dress form and my French tea tins.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I have a board I pin ideas on but most of all I like to use Pinterest to keep the clutter down.

Where do you look for inspiration?

I love going thrifting and to flea markets- vintage finds are my favorite.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

I would love windows on all sides like a greenhouse. It would make it too hot but I love seeing out and more light can never be a bad thing in my book.
