My favorite thing about my Studio is how HAPPY the space feels. It’s is such a bright & cheerful workspace & I feel so lucky to have such a lovely space to design & create in!
Tell us about your space
Having a HAPPY work space has always been important to me. When I decided to expand my Blog (LLK-C.com) into a Stationery & Giftable Goods Line (SHOP.LLK-C.com) I knew I would need to upgrade my workspace. After a few months of organized chaos I was able to transform my spare room into a bright & cheerful space filled to the brim with bright colors, inspirational imagery & lots of creative supplies for all of my artistic hobbies.
What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?
I have always believed that you should surround yourself with beautiful things, wonderful people & celebrate the simple delights in everyday living so I filled my Studio with bright colors & lots of personally curated items that reflect all of my passions.
How do you keep organized?
I have always been BIG on keeping things organized & intentionally chose storage items for the Studio that would not only look great but would help me keep everything organized in a clean & colorful way.
Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?
A place for everything & everything in it’s place! My biggest tip is to plan out what kind of storage you need so that you can have a dedicated place to put everything in. It makes it so much easier to keep everything organized when it has it’s own space.
Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?
There are so many items in the space that I love – it would be too hard to pick a favorite!
How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?
I have a lovely visual display of my ideas on a corkboard to help keep me on track & inspired!
Where do you look for inspiration?
My inspiration comes from all the wonderful people in my life. Their happiness, trials, success & celebrations is what I design for. I believe it is important to celebrate the people in your life & I find so much joy in designing products or crafts that are apart of those heartfelt moments.
If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?
I already feel like I have a dream craft space but if I were to make a wishlist I would add:
• More space
• More natural light
• More design/art supplies
