Bake some Sticky Toffee Pudding Cupcakes with Cuckoo's Bakery in Edinburgh, Scotland.

How did you get started?

Cuckoo's is owned by Graham and Vidya, we quit our jobs in London to follow a dream of opening a cupcake bakery and tea room in Edinburgh. Our friends thought the idea was ‘cuckoo!’ and so Cuckoo’s Bakery was born.
We planned and worked in the business for over a year before we opened our doors at Dundas Street and we have never looked back since!

Where are you located?

Our tearoom and cake shop is on Dundas Street in the New Town, our newly opened cake shop is in Bruntsfield.
Our cakes can also be found in Harvey Nichols and Waterstones on Princes Street

What are your specialities?

Our specialities are all things baked really, ranging from wild and wonderful flavours such as bacon and maple, tropical and passion fruit mojito. We also do a range of gooey mouthwatering brownies that fly off the shelves such as oreo and salted caramel.
Our cupcake flavours also come in larger celebration cake offerings too.

What's your personal favorite thing on the menu?

Caramel cheesecake brownie is a firm favourite, washed down with a pot of cherry almond tea. Our Friday cuptails are always a favourite and gets us all ready for the weekend!

What's on the stereo?

Soundtracks from films from yesteryear such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Sound of Music, we also love a bit of the Rat Pack, Nat King Cole and Della Reece

Where else should we visit in your area?

The Botanical Gardens are just around the corner which is a must see as well the cute collection of little vintage shops on St Stephen's Street

Do you host any special events?

We would love to do more and tend to do things on the spur of the moment, we have worked with a few local businesses and done the odd pop up event.

Is there anything else you'd like us to know?

We bake everything fresh in the morning and can take orders online, we also offer a delivery service anywhere within the Edinburgh bypass, free of charge for orders over £35
