Come behind the scenes at Revamperate and tour Holly's Long Beach office.

I love that the space is MINE. Although I have to share the office and the rest of our apartment with my boyfriend, I feel like my little craft corner is reflective of me and the little things I love - like my old camera collection, favorite photos and craft supplies!

Tell us about your space

My craft space is a small office in our apartment with a huge closet that doubles as our catch-all storage space. In general, the room serves many functions, including part-time cat habitat, but I carved out a specific corner just for myself. My boyfriend has his section of it for studying and general boy stuff, and I have mine for working, sewing and other crafts.

What have you done to make your space cosy, beautiful or inspiring?

Luckily we can hang things in our apartment, so one of my favorite things I've hung on the wall is a pair of my grandpa's old records from the 40s. I also inherited many of his old cameras, which sit on the shelves of my desk, and those antique artsy items always make me feel inspired and make the room feel more homey.

How do you keep organized?

I recently put up a ton of shelves in our office closet, allowing for TONS of storage. I have all of my supplies organized into different sized boxes according to type or use and store them all on shelves so that it's easy to grab exactly what I need. I thrive on organization, and I like pretty storage, so I also have a really cool old trunk sitting in the corner that stores all of my fabrics.

Any tips & tricks for organising supplies?

Boxes, boxes, boxes. I find that it's really easy to find everything when it's labeled appropriately in boxes. For people who think organizing can't be fun, make it pretty! To organize "pretty" supplies like paint, color code them on a shelf, or make your own storage boxes in order for organizing feel more personal.

Which are your favourite possessions and are there any of your own creations on display?

I have a few homemade things on display in my office, like the copper embroidered pencil cup and card holder and the string wrapped frame. Like I mentioned above, my camera collection and my grandpa's records are some of my favorite possessions, but I also LOVE the wood print on my desk that reads "love you to the moon & back..." that I purchased from a shop called Cardtorial. Another little item I love is the glass owl bowl that holds all of my paint brushes - it was a gift from my mom.

How do you organise your inspiration and ideas?

I'm a little bit of a Pinterest addict, so I find that organizing ideas online is a great way to keep track of my ideas. I also keep a journal with ideas, recipes, random sketches of projects, etc. Sometimes you can't always organize inspiration, but I find that digital is easiest because at least you can Ctrl + F when you want to find something specific!

Where do you look for inspiration?

I check several of my favorite blogs regularly to keep up with their projects, and I search for ideas via Pinterest. I also find a lot of inspiration looking through stores I can't afford, and then saying, "hey, I can make that." Inspiration comes from a thousand things, but I love seeing what everyone else is doing and eventually new ideas pop up from time to time.

If you had three wishes, what would you do to make it the dream space?

1. More closet space! You can never have enough.
2. I WISH our window was bigger or the room was facing another direction so that it got more natural light for photos
3. One day, I dream of having a craft room all to myself decked out with shelves of pretty, organized craft supplies and tons of space to work. If only!
