How would you describe your style?

I would say my style is very simple and classic, but fun!

What's your favourite piece in your wardrobe?

Oh gosh, this is a tough one… I don’t think I could possibly pick one favorite piece of clothing, but I will say that I probably wear jeans more than anything else, so I guess it would be a tie between my dark wash skinnies, or one of my favorite dresses, because dresses are just so fun to wear!

Who are your style icons?

One of my all-time favorite actresses and style icons has always been Audrey Hepburn. She is absolutely gorgeous and her simple, classic style is forever timeless. I also look up to Drew Barrymore because she has always dressed for herself and no one else; even if she’s made some interesting fashion choices over the years, her carefree, boho style is something I admire. Ooh, and of course I love Zooey Deschanel, Mindy Kaling, Keira Knightley, Elle Fanning and soo many more!

Do you have any favourite designers?

I think Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are so fashionable and are incredibly talented designers, and most recently, I fell in love with Zooey Deschanel’s collection with Tommy Hilfiger.

Where are your favourite places to shop for new clothes?

I am definitely a girl on a budget, so my favorite places for new clothes are H&M, Forever 21 and American Eagle for denim – their jeans just fit me so well.

Do you make or customise your outfits?

I have made and customized a lot of clothing over the years and I always wish I had the time to sew more!

Do you have any great tips for mixing up and personalising an outfit?

I would say that thrift shops are a great place to find one-of-a-kind pieces, and when it comes to personal style, go for whatever speaks to you! I don’t try to fit into one genre of style or another, I try trends if I like them, but I don’t go chasing after each new fad. For me, comfort is key, so I pick pieces that I know I will feel good in. One last tip – play with your accessories! Fashion should be fun, so play around, try on 20 different bracelets or necklaces, but ultimately wear whatever you like!

Which other fashion blogs do you love to read?

I follow A Beautiful Mess for fashion and DIY’s, and probably a million other fashion and style blogs, but I love browsing Pinterest for fashion inspiration – it’s my favorite!
