Chambord

Cocktail Hour is a new feature to the blog where we'll be showcasing different liquors and bringing you three recipes to mix up a classic cocktail, a cocktail with a twist and a unique cocktail from our Craft Test Sidekicks.

For our first Cocktail Hour, we're experimenting with Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur to bring you some delicious new cocktails to mix up at home.

Classic: French Martini

As Chambord comes from France, the obvious choice for the classic cocktail was a French Martini shaken up from vodka, Chambord and pineapple juice. It's a delicious, frothy cocktail that's perfect for sipping at a party.

Twist: Raspberry Ice Tea

A twist on a Long Island Ice Tea, this version calls for the usual rum, vodka, gin and tequila but replaces the triple sec with Chambord. Stirred together with a splash of cherry coke and served tall over crushed ice with frozen berries and lemon slices, this is a fruity boozy drink sure to hit the spot.

Unique: Berry & Cream Frozen Cocktail

Somewhere between a dessert and a cocktail, I went a little outside the box for the unique cocktail mixing together Chambord with frozen berries, vanilla vodka, creme de cacao blanc and cream to make a frozen cocktail.
